This class is teaching early childhood music including songs in Spanish and basic rhythm, creative movement, and traditional childhood games in a family-style, mixed-age class based in our cultural traditions. Preschoolers are developing pre-musical and pre-dance skills and concepts through a culturally relevant curriculum. Children are learning to sing traditional children's songs in Spanish ("Canciones Infantiles"), learning the rudiments of rhythm in the context of Puerto Rican folklore, enjoying creative movement including dance (like Bomba!), and learning to play traditional children's games ("Juegos Infantiles").

This 1st program is giving children a musically rich learning experience from which (starting at age 5) they can graduate into our Youth Dance, Choir Program, or both!
